Hill's Science Diet Partners with Pet Allies
Show Low, AZ, May 20, 2024— Pet Allies is proud to announce their partnership with Hills Science Diet through their Hills Food, Shelter, and Love Program. Through this program, Hills has helped provide high-quality nutrition for pets in over 1000 animal shelters across the United States. Since 2002, this program has helped over 14 million pets find loving homes.
Because of this partnership, Pet Allies will be able to provide consistent diets to shelter animals at low cost. In addition, new adopters will receive a bag of Science Diet food for free, as well as coupons for future purchases. Shelter animals will benefit from being on the same diet in their new homes, reducing stress and intestinal issues.
“For only about $80 a week, we can provide good quality food to every shelter animal from kittens and puppies to adults and seniors. This is a substantial savings from the costs of buying just one 40-pound bag of food at retail costs of $60 or more,” says Tereza Marks, Executive Director. “This program is a win for our shelter in cost savings, a win for adopters who get free food and coupons, and Hills who gets to introduce new adopters to their food.”
Community members who wish to help can donate money to help offset the costs of food. The donation of $60 that could be used to buy one bag of food for animals at retail costs can now feed the majority of our shelter animals for the entire week. Donations can be mailed to Pet Allies at 1321 N 16th Street, Show Low AZ 85901 or dropped off during regular shelter hours which are 11 am to 5 pm Monday through Saturday and 11 am to 3 pm on Sundays.
