Stray cats and dogs from the City of Show Low are held in the shelter for three days and then placed up for adoption. If you have lost a pet, please come by and see if we might have your pet at the shelter.  If a stray pet has a form of identification, a tag, a microchip, a collar, the pet will be held 10 days and then placed up for adoption.  The shelter is a no-kill facility.  Some animals are in foster care and not at the shelter.
