Just an update on Rammy..or now known as Brandy.
She is doing just great. She made the trip down to my home in Tucson last Monday just fine.
Like I told you, she seems to not have a meow sound. Just makes a tiny squeeky noise but maybe in time she will find her voice. She has adjusted to my 2 small dogs and the other 4 cats and has made herself right at home. At first I kept her in my den where she had a bed, litter box, toys and food/water.
But now she has free roam of the house. She will go back into the den when she wants to be away from others.
She has actually slept on my bed with me and 2 other cats. She still is a bit scared and doesn't really like you to carry her around. Have to let her do her own thing in her own way. She does love to be brushed and petted and she will play with a ball with me. I am so glad I decided to adopt her, as she was just too sad hiding in that small cage and afraid of everyone. I knew she would probably never find a forever home.
I can tell she is really happy with me and the other animals. I was surprised to see that she was not a bit afraid of my dogs, which are gentle dogs anyway.
I have attached a picture of her by her food bowls.
Sure do miss Liz, kitties and the Barkin' Basement daily visit.
